Electrocardiography – ECG/EKG

Electrocardiography ECG or EKG is the process of recording the electrical activity of the heart over a period of time using electrodes placed on a patient's body. These electrodes detect the tiny electrical changes on the skin that arise from the heart muscle depolarizes during each heartbeat. An ECG is an ideal initial diagnostic to check ones heart health.

The ECG is performed by trained technicians and does not require any pre-preparations by the patient.

A patient can walk into the medical centre for an ECG from Monday to Saturday from 8.30am to 7.30pm or on Sunday from 8.30am to 2.00pm.
